Marlon Devonish

Having been a professional athlete for most of his adult life meant that he continually had to perform under immense pressure whilst managing expectations with confidence, both as an individual and as part of a team. In doing so, Mr. Devonish was able to fulfil his potential in a highly competitive field. The most notable achievement of his sportive career came at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He won a gold medal in the 4 x 100 m relay. The constant success that he experienced over 16 consecutive years at a world class level (1996 – 2013), allowed him to develop an understanding of the importance of mindset and how this can be utilised to optimise other situations.
He has commented on major sporting events in the media – both live and pre-recorded. He is still appearing on popular TV and radio stations such as BBC, SKY Sports and BBC Radio. With both intensive media training and extensive media experience he has gained rhetorical skills and knowledge to make an authentic impact in front of live- and TV-audiences. At the same time Mr. Devonish has worked as coach, presenter, motivational speaker and brand ambassador to represent companies in a positive light, create awareness and give brand credibility to various projects. Companies including are Nike, Adidas, Mizuno, Jaguar, BMW and FitnessFirst. Furthermore, he has worked for various educational establishments.
